Add the SimBio Active Learning System to an Assignment

*Note: Students will not be able to see their SimUText assignments until you have created the assignments on your Instructor Platform.

1. Within your Course, click the +Assignment button and scroll down to Submission Type, select External Tool from the dropdown, and click Find.
2. On the overlay, click on SimBio Active Learning System and click the Select button.
3. Confirm that the "Load This Tool In A New Tab" checkbox is checked.
4. If you try to load the tool from the Instructor view, you will get a 404 error. If you would like to see what your students will see, you must first switch to Student View. You will essentially create a student account for yourself in our system but scores will not be recorded for you.
