Changing your Password

Passwords are case-SensiTiVe and can contain numbers, letters, and special characters. As with any password, keep it in a secure place and do not share it with others. 

Your SimUText password must meet all of the following criteria:

• Contain a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 characters
• Contain at least 1 number
• Contain at least 1 uppercase letter
• Contain at least 1 lowercase letter
• Contain at least 1 special character (@$!%^?&)

To change the password for your SimUText account:

1. Log into your Instructor Platform.
2. Click on the icon in the upper right-hand side of the top banner.  
3. Click on the Change Password tab.
4. Enter your current (old) password, and then type a new password (identically, twice) in the next two fields.
5. Click the Reset Password button.

If you have forgotten your password:

1. Go to the SimBio Active Learning System log in page.
2. Click on the Forgot your Password? link (located below the Sign In button).
3. Enter your Username.
4. Click on the Reset password button.
5. Check your email for password reset instructions.
